1. To download
a file from a link, click
once on the link (left mouse button).
When your cursor is over a link,
it will often change to a pointing hand
to indicate an interaction.
After clicking once, the following dialog box will appear, asking
what you want to do with the file:

Select the option to "Save this file to disk" then click on OK.
- You can skip the previous dialog box by simply right-clicking
on the link,
then select "Save Target As..." from the contextual menu that pops
up to the right of the cursor.
The menu text will vary slightly between browsers. In Firefox,
click on "Save Link As..."

2. Next the computer will prompt you to save the file. A new dialog
box will appear:
Look near the top of the page and find the field to the right
of "Save in:" and check to see what folder is listed in
the field. This is the folder where your download will be saved.
The My Documents folder is the location for this download.
Click on the Save button.
The following window should appear, showing that your file is
downloading. This File Download window also displays the beginning
and ending of the path to the location of the file:
When the File Download window closes, your file should be on your
hard drive. In this example it was downloaded to the My Documents
folder. You can now go there to open your file.
